LDAP paths are required in the import file for assigning users to groups and assigning a destination container using the destinationOU property. In the examples below you'll notice that the default 'Users' container is addressed with a 'CN' and not an 'OU'. For example: CN=Users,DC=Domain,DC=COM OU=Admin,DC=MyDomain,DC=CO,DC=UK
An LDAP path is also required when assigning a user or contact to a group. Groups are accessed using the CN attribute.
For example: CN=GroupName,OU=Sales,DC=Domain,DC=COM CN=StaffGroup,CN=Users,DC=Domain,DC=CO,DC=UK
Understanding CN,OU and DC CN = Containers, Objects such as Users, Domain Controllers, users, contacts, groups. OU = Organizational Units which contain Users, Contacts and Groups. DC = Domain containers, such as DC=Domain,DC=Com
6. I have a question that has not been asked on this FAQ, who should I ask?

7. Are the attribute names case sensitive?
Yes they are, AD attributes are case sensitive so to aid the export/import process the program expects the correct property name.
