AD Phonebook

AD Phonebook is a browser based Active Directory Phonebook that takes the pain out of maintaing the company phonebook. Installation is easy and you can be up and running in minutes, you can customize the look and what data is shown.

With AD Phonebook you can use Active Directory to provide up to date contact information to your employees. All the contact information shown is based on your criteria, only users or contacts that you want to appear are listed.

You can use our photo import tool AD Photos to import photos in to Active Directory in bulk (includes watermarking feature as demonstrated below).

AD Phonebook supports multiple domains.

When more than one domain is available you can query all domains (default) or query specific domains.

The AD Phonebook installation takes just a few minutes, after the installation has completed you will need to assign a service account that can be used to query Active Directory this is done using the AD Configuration program which you will find under 'Start\All Programs\Dovestones Software'. If you have more than one domain you will need to specify each domain here.

System Requirements

The following software should be installed before installing the application:

• Windows Server 2003, 2003 R2, 2008, 2008 R2
• Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0, 7.0 or 7.5 with World Wide Web Service installed
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (Download here)
• ASP.NET 2.0 Enabled, In IIS Manager set to ‘Allow’ under ‘Web Service Extensions’
